Marshall grew up in the kitchen with his mother, a professional chef in Houston, TX. Appearing on a local TV show at age 8 to teach viewers how to make bread fueled his passion for food and launched a 17-year career in the food service industry. Having worked as a busboy, waiter, dishwasher, line-cook, and manager, Marshall understands the inner workings of the restaurant business and food-related industries.
Marshall worked as a Financial Advisor and Wealth Manager for 16 years, and was Executive Director of the Wine and Food Foundation of Texas. He is currently the Vice Echanson for the Austin Balliage of the Chaine des Rotisseurs. Marshall serves, or has served, on numerous Boards including Austin Involved, Ballet Austin, the Downtown Austin Alliance and Ending Community Homelessness Coalition. He is a member in good standing of the Austin Club and the Downtown Austin Neighborhood Association.
